The Grubenstrasse Association is an association under Art. 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. It was established at the founding meeting on 14 February 2026 in Saanenmöser and is politically and denominationally neutral.
Our purpose
We work to protect the road and its surroundings from Schönried to Gstaad – for all authorised users and to preserve its current character. Our priorities are:
- the safety of everyone using the road,
- preventing unauthorised through traffic,
- respect for the 40 km/h speed limit and mutual consideration,
- enforcement of the driving ban and speed limit by the municipality and police.
The association also gives its members a hearing and a common voice towards the municipality and authorities.
Organisation
The highest body is the general meeting, held annually during the last three months of the calendar year. Each member has one vote. The board manages day-to-day business, represents the association and decides on the admission of new members.
Membership
Membership is open to individuals and legal entities who are authorised users of the Grubenstrasse – in particular residents and property owners within the perimeter along the road. The membership fee is CHF 40 per year.
